Denim and t-shirts are my ride or dies. But sometimes, I need to switch things up. This year I'm challenging myself to wear less denim "cringes". And no better way to try new styles and not blow the budget then thrift shopping.
One of my favorite sections at the thrift store is the "women's sets" section. Thats an easy place to find monochromatic looks. This time I stumbled on this amaaaaazing olive green corduroy set.
The most magical thing that can happen is when you find dupes for pricier items in the thrift store. The very next day after buying the corduroy set I stumble on to these bad boys on the Zara site. I am probably the luckiest thrift shopper. How amazing is it that I thrifted an item that looks just like an item released on Zara. I gotta pat myself on the back for this one. Best part, it was only $9!
The trousers I bought were about 5 sizes too big. But me and my sewing machine took care of that. I took the hips and waist in and let the leg remain wide.
